I’ve been writing professionally for almost a decade, freelancing since mid-2009.

In that time I produced more than 300 industry articles through Australian internet marketing company WebDynamic, covering topics as diverse as architecture, infertility testing and treatment, and modern woodworking and sculpture.

For The Altruism Marketers, I restructured their site layout; wrote a brand-new nine-page sales letter to replace their original nineteen-page one; and consulted with their CEO on the member-side design. This client was so impressed, he promotes my services to his members for their own independent websites.

Sara Haliczer heard about my services through Facebook and recruited me to write copy for her internet-based family legal firm, Haliczer Family Legal Services. In addition to creating all the copy for her site, I offered advertising & marketing advice, and sent a marketing plan for the future of her business – free of charge – at the conclusion of our work together.

In November 2010 I worked with Jenesys Group, a local SEO firm, creating articles, blog posts, and Twitter campaigns for clients.

I collaborated with Jennifer Claassens of inspiredesigns to create the shiny new face of Diesel Generators Caribbean, an online diesel generator shop. I wrote copy for their “Home”, “Our Company” and “FAQ” pages, as well as their snappy new slogan and two informative, research-heavy technical articles aimed at educating their prospects.

In January 2011 we worked together for Parts Supply Inc., creating an entirely new site design. I wrote About and Home webpages, a brief marketing piece for their FAQ page, and the content in the sliding banner at the top of the Home page. As of April 2011 the site has not been updated with the new design or content, but feel free to email me at burke.ivey (at) rocketmail.com for samples.

In May 2011 I took on a contract with Writers Research Group, creating articles for their clients.

I’d love to do more web content and advertising work, and I’m always on the lookout for the next challenge to my skills.
